Kuzuzangpo la! I’m Sonam Loday, and I have been a professional guide in Bhutan since 2005. I am known for the depth of my cultural knowledge as well as my sense of fun and good humor—making every journey enjoyable and relaxed. I have worked with guests from around the world, leading groups of all sizes and interests, with care and dedication.
Today, I proudly lead my own company, Bhutan Behind the Scenes. My goal is to give you a genuine connection with Bhutan, its compassionate people, and its Buddhist spirit—beyond the ordinary tourist’s view. I specialize in ‘behind the scenes’ cultural and spiritual tours as well as trekking and horse riding trips. These experiences offer a view of Bhutan’s rich heritage, sacred Buddhist traditions, and breathtaking landscapes.
